For months, I've been asking myself why we pay if we can't even eat our money's worth. Isn't it true that there's no use in paying if we can't?
To offer you a little insight into the hostel meals, I'd like to inform you about certain issues that have been upsetting the majority of hostelites.
One issue is the restricted number of tokens we must use to obtain food; we are spending 12 thousand rupees for 22 tokens, which barely covers the dinner time.
Aren't we meant to eat at least twice a day? So, what's the sense of paying for food if you're just going to buy it online?

Not everyone can afford to continue purchasing online and not be concerned about not having enough money to survive on for the remainder of the month. Not every student in drenching money to just spend it everyday twice a day for food when they have already paid for the tokens for the month.

The quantity is one issue, but the quality is a far greater one. How are we supposed to eat when the food is not good enough and you don't even want to eat it? Comparing hostel cuisine to cafe food is better than what hostelites are required to consume one day the meal is saturated in oil, the next it lacks salt, and the third it is simply too fiery to swallow.
Our institution is one of the most prestigious in the country, and I would like the management to recognize that there may be students curled up in their beds because they do not have any more tokens to spend.
